In a world where 16 year olds are tested to see if they have the skills needed in society, Wren and Ash face very different futures.
Wren tested positive. She is accepted into society as one of their best soldiers, but she has a feeling that the society is not what it seems.
Ash tested negative. He goes on the run, creating a rebel group to fight the society. They cause trouble, destroying buildings and disrupting order. He is one of the most wanted people in society and is hunted constantly.
