Thirteen-year-old Rendria Marina Beaufort is nothing but a doll, putting on faces to please the beast ravaging her inside and out- her mother. Rendria is then brought to a magical school where she tries her hand at making friends, trying not to fall in love, passing Forest class and staying alive. 
As Rendria's hard core slaughters goblins and cold-shoulders bullies, the line between good and evil is blurred beyond comprehension.
