Double Cross: noun a betrayal of someone with whom one is supposedly cooperating. 13 year-old girls Sadie Parks and Phoebe Thomas met when they were in 6th grade. Sadie thought Phoebe was nice, funny, outgoing, and cool and Phoebe thought the same things about Sadie. As their friendship grew, Sadie started to realize that she was trapped. She didn't really like Phoebe anymore, but Phoebe adored her. In fact, Phoebe wouldn't leave her alone. Double Cross is a book that teaches people about friendship and how important friends are to people around the world.

Emmalyn is an eccentric, know-it-all girl that drives her bike to school and voices her thoughts. Olivia is a preppy, pushover girl that attends brunches and does what is expected of her. They are as unlike as girls can be. Together, they have to overcome a parent's split up, depression, a weirdo's best friend, backstabs, judgment, anorexia, and an enigmatic new guy at school. It would be quite easy, despite of it all, if they did not just so happen to hate each other. All Rights Reserved © evalooks4walle
