Estella Carpenter, an abused 17 year old girl, runs away from her abusive father to her neighbors, the Yeager's. She finds herself running into their barn at the wrong time, being suddenly introduced to one of the alien robots from the Chicago Battle, only about a year ago. Staying with her friendly neighbors, she finds her family in them and this strange transforming alien robot, the leader of the Autobots. However, being associated with an alien robot refugee has it's consequences, throwing her into a life of danger.
