Yet the plans of the Lady are different and before he can turn around he is trapped in a forest completely different to the one he has grown up in. 
Adding to his confusion is the young elf Daera (pronounced: DaEra) who is clearly interested in Haldir yet she still has to fight her own demons. And her time to pick sides is running out...

This story is set before and during the actions of The Hobbit and The War of the Rings.
