Hunter, The Golden Guard, Belos' right-hand man, was simply asked to do a simple assignment. To disguise himself as his insecure teenage boy self under his Golden Guard mask and enroll in Hexside to get closer enough to the human to trap her and the people that get in the way. During this not-so-simple mission, Hunter runs across a certain Blight.

Hunters dream was finally coming true, and now as he looked at the man in front of him, the person who took him in and raised him. He promised to not only be the best Golden Guard he could, but to be a nephew his Uncle could be proud of. This is a story about Hunters life from his first days of being a scout, to being trapped in the human realm with the others. watch as he changes over time and eventually overcomes the manipulation and mistreatment his "Uncle" did to him. After the golden guard has a small encounter with the Blight's son, he approaches his uncle with an idea that was completely unrelated to the encounter. He wants to infiltrate Hexside and gain more information about the human and the owl lady. And he will do it any way he can. Even if it means becoming friends with them. The only problem?
