Esper: Journey To A New World - Year 1 by FlyNimbus
2 parts Ongoing Mature
Bryen Avilla always thought he was ordinary-just an adopted son in a famous Esper family, content to watch the world move on around him. But when his long-awaited school entry at the prestigious ESP Academy hurls him into a swirl of fiery tests, cryptic placements, and dangerous rivalries, "ordinary" goes up in smoke. Between star-flecked dorm rooms, mind-bending training fields, and an ominous whisper of "Rogues" who threaten the Cosmics themselves, Bryen soon realizes there's more to his strange powers than any routine aptitude test can measure. While his classmates vie for top rank, Bryen struggles with a mysterious, unreadable energy signature that leaves him branded as a lowly D-tier. Yet chance encounters with arrogant nobles, secretive S-tier prodigies, and an uptight professor who despises his "kind" hint at a deeper heritage neither he nor the Academy truly understands. Torn between a loyal friend with ice in her veins and a brazen new ally who wields fire and lightning, Bryen finds himself balancing tenuous alliances, looming threats, and the specter of a cosmic legacy gone awry. As epic competitions like RiftRush loom and sinister forces stir in the shadows, Bryen must rise beyond the stigma of his dubious rank-or risk vanishing into the very darkness that seeks to devour the world of Espers. After all, question marks can be deceiving, and the greatest power may lie in the secrets everyone else has dismissed. Where do Bryen's strange visions truly come from? What menace brews behind the Academy's polished halls? Discover a realm where cosmic gifts meet everyday strife, and destiny hinges on the unlikeliest sparks of hope. Will Bryen become the hero no one expects, or the outcast forever trapped by fate? Not the best writer(yet) been working on this since 2017, thought I'd upload it here into parts. Hope you all like it!
The Truth Behind The Lies by AnHartOliver
26 parts Ongoing
Lion had been but a child when he was exiled from the Land of Critters, his once vibrant world shattered by a decision beyond his control. Alongside him was Larry, his ever-loyal friend and the only family he had left. The two wandered through desolate landscapes, their bond growing stronger with every passing day, yet the world around them was merciless. As the years slipped away, Lion was forced to grow up faster than he ever should have. The innocence of youth, once a bright flame within him, slowly dimmed under the weight of harsh survival. He learned what it meant to be truly alone, to face betrayal and hardship, and to witness the darker sides of humanity. Each experience, each misstep, carved deeper lines into his soul, and over time, the boy who had been exiled became a man haunted by the ghosts of his past. Thirteen years had passed since that fateful day, and now, Lion stood on the cusp of returning to a place he once called home-a place that had long since become a painful memory. The boy who had been cast out was gone, replaced by a man who carried within him not only the wisdom of age but the burden of guilt. His eyes, once bright with the promise of a future, now burned with sorrow and regret. In his heart, a heavy knot of guilt twisted, never allowing him to forget the mistakes that had led to his exile. Yet, despite the ache of his past, there was a quiet, unshakable resolve within him. He had to go back. He had to face what he had left behind and find a way to redeem himself. It wasn't just about returning to the Land of Critters-it was about confronting the choices that had shaped his fate, and the unknown forces that had cast him out. In his hand, Lion carried the artifact-an object of mystery whose true power remained known only to him and Larry. It was a relic, ancient and enigmatic, its origins shrouded in secrecy. The world had no idea what it was, nor did anyone understand the strange connection it seemed to have with Lion.

(I will update this every Friday until it is eventually completed or replaced) Lucas Tathern was a shy closed in teenager trying to get through high school. His friends were few and one was rather strange. Until one day everything changed for Lucas. ***Note*** This story was written by me in the fourth grade. I recently rediscover this document while going through files on my old computer. It's poorly written and the plot is cliche and scattered. However, after rereading it I remembered the passion I had for this story and my efforts to express my creativity. Hopefully, I'll be able to rewrite this story and improve upon it because it still has a place in my heart. Hope you enjoy!
