Evangeline is faced with a decision that could change her life forever. If she decides to do this, she can never look back. 
She lost her brother when she was only eight years old and feels like she's becoming farther and farther away from her parents each day. When she views an expensive ring in a jewelry store, a guy pulls up in a blood-red car. She has no knowledge of who he is until she sees him snatch a bracelet. She tries to turn him in but he kidnaps her, and when she attempts to escape he lets her go but with an offer. He offers to mentor her in becoming a young criminal.
The next day she discovers a mysterious channel on her TV. She starts watching it and soon realizes it's a news channel for criminals. She shows the channel to her best friend assuming nothing will go wrong, but her best friend threatens to turn the channel into the police.
Ever since she saw the ring, met the man, discovered the channel, she knows what she has to do. She feels it inside of her, she has to commit a crime to satisfy something deep within her. If she decides to do this, she knows she can never look back. 
Will she find a dark passion she had deep inside her, or will she get in huge trouble with the law?All Rights Reserved

(The book is under editing right now, and I'll be changing the location of the safe haven from Columbus to Cincinnati. I didn't really think it through when I first wrote this but I think that Cincinnati would make a little more sense. Sorry for any confusion!) *************** BEING REWRITTEN I started writing this at 14, and it started out as something I made just for fun. The story was mostly imporvised, and I don't like how it's turned out. I've had a lot of new and hopefully more interesting ideas, and there's so much that I decided to rewrite the whole thing completely. The story will be very different but the characters will be the same for the most part. It'll have the same style of writing with the different points of view, but separated between books instead of chapters, and I already have a storyline laid for the first 2 or 3. I'm sorry for the people that like the original story and were hoping for more, so I won't be deleting this one. I'll update on my page once I start posting chapters of the new series.

At first, everything is fine, but when the now Luna meets some weird detectives while working on an even weirder case she starts to rethink everything. Luna is forced to weigh experience and love, and moral and duty. Also, when her past and all her locks and chains begin to loosen how will Luna react, and more importantly, how will the world react?

~Thank you for the continued love for this series! I was 13 when I began this book, and am now taking the time to go back to completely rewrite it, and maybe just publish someday~ I'm 15 and my name is Astrix. Let's start with that. That seems like an easy thing to start with. Now, let me add in some other details. I live in a zombie apocalypse. Yeah, that's about as enjoyable as I can make it seem. But what if she has secrets that nobody knows of? What if the only thing she can trust is her secret diary? What if slowly but surly she's dying inside? How can an innocent twelve year old deal with these problems? Will she keep on facing these problem till the day she breaks. Her school burns down forcing her into a different school to meet different people and she has to fit into a different lifestyle as well. Meet Evangeline. Now at 17 years of age in a new high school. Not all girls anymore. No uniform. Meet Drake. Your classic bad-boy. He just moved to Saint Abigail high school. He is assigned partners with the quiet, calm, unnoticed Evangeline. As time progresses he finds that she isn't as happy on the inside as she is on the outside. Can he save her? Or is it too late? • • • Some rude language. Depression and cutting. Don't say I didn't warn you. Okay, I wrote this at the start of this year (may 2016) and I had very poor writing skills. For years, Evangeline has been married to Joseph Vanderbilt who has always been the perfect depiction of a husband while she was his wonderful obedient wife who would give in to his control. Out in public, he'd always go around with a smile on his face and a loving arm around Evangeline. But behind closed doors, no one really knew how impossible it was for Evangeline to be his wife, not even Evangeline until it was too late. She didn't realize it was too late until she saw the dead body in her husband's trunk, and he confessed that his real name was Eugene. After that, Evangeline has been fighting for her survival every day while also trying to escape him. However, he's made it almost impossible by tying her to the bed every night and constantly keeping her by his side. He confessed that all the precautions were because he loved her and wanted to keep her in his life, but the more she tried to escape, the more he began to show his true colors and start abusing her. He'd tie her up for hours or beat her as he pleased and would even bring his family members into it. After a while, Evangeline realized that time was very limited when she discovered a secret cellar and a secret even darker inside it below their cozy home. After she discovered the hidden room, Eugene would start locking her in it for days at a time with the possibility of never letting her out again. It only gets worse when he and his cousin make threats to mutilate her if she ever tries to escape again, which only gives her one last chance to get out while she can and get it right.
