Laxus is the leader of the strongest(and largest) mafia gang. He is cruel, heartless, and mean. His friends keep telling him that he's not getting any younger and that he should find a partner. After 3 years of his friends teasing him, he finally agreed. His friends(and some other members) come together and kidnap 15 girls who they think their leader will fall for. Whoever he doesn't like, gets killed.
Lucy is a street fighter. She has a little brother named Luka. She doesn't like her lifestyle but does it in order to pay for Lukas medicine. She is single and chooses to stick to herself due to her getting heartbroken in the past. Luka and Lucy's parents are no longer alive. their mom died giving birth to Luka and because of that, their dad turned abusive. Lucy took all of the beatings wanting to protect her brother. her back is now covered with deep scars from the cuts and whip lashes she had received from the beatings.
