Basically the story is set in The Middle, a divider between Heaven And Hell. Only those 50/50 get sent to The Middle, those who are half good and half bad ig. If you've seen the gacha memes with the heaven and hell shit, you will know this is similar. These people are sent to kill those who are meant to die. (You think Godd has the time for that?) It gets gruesome though.
