Rebirth

It’s been 20 years since the day of ‘rebirth’.
I am Lucy, I am only 12 but Mom tells me about before the ‘rebirth’.
She says that everyone had food and no one worried about getting killed.
I dream of such a place, but when I wake up I know it was just that,
a dream.
