@Maribat-Calendar-Events aka @Izanae on Tumblr is the one who now makes all Maribat event calendars, and has decided to replace Daminette December with Origins October (since Daminette is the ship that started Maribat). He/she/they have posted the calendar, so I'm posting the calendar on Wattpad for everyone on Wattpad to see it, and for authors to know the prompts!

Marinette is the Star of the Order of the Miraculous, the still-in-training head, as well as the True Ladybug leading the Court of Miracles. After years at Hawkmoth's mercy, Marinette has decided that enough is enough and is reaching out to Batman, the detective of detectives to help her track down the villian's true identity. What better way to do this than a field trip to Gotham? Damian, the bloodson and heir to both the Cowl and the Demon's Head, wants nothing to do with the French Class who has won the Wayne Enterprises Summer Internship, yet his father insists he needs better interpersonal skills. He supposes it won't kill him to try to work with this supposedly skilled class president if it means that everyone will get off his back for being 'aggressively asocial' (although he will still keep NDAs on standby). A seal of fate, a blood right, and a hidden prophecy lead Marinette and Damian on a rollercoaster of emotions, humourous misunderstandings, and comeuppance -- and marriage?! ___ Basically my attempt at a soulmate AU, full of just about every Damianette cliche and trope I can think of. The Emotional Turmoil of Damian Wayne | Damianette (Maribat)
Damian always assumed that the discomforting emotions he felt in Marinette's presence were because he couldn't stand the woman. However after an unlikely encounter in a darkened alley, Damian comes to the harrowing realisation that he has actually been in love with her the entire time. What's worse? Marinette is under the assumption that Damian hates her. Damian needs to fix this, if he can only figure out how to talk to her without dissolving into an emotional mess. Prompt: Imagine a world where we didn't hate each other. That would be so (fill in the blank) --- This is literally watching Damian turn into goo around Marinette after realizing he loves her. (This was originally a one-shot on Ao3 but I separated it into chapters here because a 28k one-shot is excessive. It only ended up that way because it was originally part of a Maribat writing contest and couldn't be a chapter fic. (Spoiler: I am the MGI 2024 Maribat Secret Writers champion! Gotham's Lucky Charm (Daminette)
Marinette moves to Gotham when Bunnix warns that Lila will ruin her life if she stays in Paris, giving Hawk Moth the chance manipulate Marinette's emotions and akumatize her. But Marinette won't let that happen. She wins the Wayne Foundation full-ride scholarship for Gotham Academy and moves into an apartment in an area called Crime Alley. It's not going to be easy to hide her powers, and excuse herself during the middle of classes to take care of akuma attacks back in Paris, but she's sure that somehow she'll be able to manage it. Damian "Ice Prince" Wayne doesn't understand the feelings that he is developing for the new French exchange student. She's just another pretty girl... perhaps a very smart girl... but just a girl! Why does his heart beat faster whenever she's around? He should be focusing on keeping Gotham safe, and assisting the Justice League with the recent Metahuman trafficking situation, but instead his thoughts are consumed by Marinette Dupain-Cheng. Ok, so I'm not a fan of Batman and his fam but Daminette managed to change my mind. Since I don't watch anything with Batman and the cartoon like the titans and all that, this story will only be about Batman and his robins and batgirl and of course immortal Alfred. Marinette is as you know is the guardian so I'll leave her to that. The last Daminette fanfics I've read had Alya turned against Marinette and I really didn't like that so I won't do that in my story. And best part, Lila won't be in this story so yippee.
