Farah is no normal student. She is part of the Clan, a secret society of monster hunters. Most Clan students don't get the opportunity to serve until they've graduated, but Farah is nothing if not clever. She talks her way into joining a spy mission a year before she's set to graduate.

Her mission won't be to hunt monsters, as her family's was before her, but to pose as a new vampire at the prestigious Resmond High and gather as much information about the students there as possible.

Farah grew up believing monsters were just that, beasts of instinct, and evil to the core. She never imagined she could be wrong. When she and a boy shifter become something like friends Farah has no choice but to question the Clan and its leader's plans for all monster kind.
