This story is set in 1948, three years after World War II ended. It was a time where people reformed their lives: they began to hope again, live life in more fulfilling ways, but most importantly they relearned how to love. Finding love and keeping it was so much easier to do in society now that the horrors of war were over. As love flourishes in a time where people long for it, there shouldn't be any problems.
