Being one of the "freak's" only friends, the two of you made a promise to never leave each other, to stick by each other for as long as possible only for something to go wrong and for him to be taken from you.
Your parents eventually moved for work and you haven't been to Haddonfield since then.
It comes to the point where you decide to go back, move back into your old house across from the Myers residence, somewhere to continue your art hobby.
People there in Haddonfield know you as the boogeyman's girl, mainly people that stuck around from when you went to school with them.
