Magic, Owen and Oeca enter the maze together after deciding it would be best to try to map some new areas. Though not everything goes to plan as the day and night cycle becomes chaos trapping the group inside the maze. Some the grievers find them forcing one to sacrifice themselves for the others survival. So they're dead right? That's what the other 2 believe. But when the other is found inside the maze heavily injured but breathing what will the others think?
