Akuyaku no shokuzai e no michinori (The Villain's Road to Redemption)

We have all heard the story over and over have we not? A villian does awful things and a hero comes to save the day, a tale as old as time of course, but doesn't it seem a bit over done to you? What if the villian wasn't all that bad, what if the hero was truelly a monster under a facade of someone grand. Maybe we will find out what will happen in this story, as we follow a wannabe villian, trying to set his name in stone as legendary, and the many misgiving that come with his dreams.
In this world, there are two types of people, those who are blessed by the hero, and the ones who aren't. The ones who are blessed are uncommon to be born, but will always have a specific symbol on their palm like a birth mark, and with the mark, gain an at birth affinity to magic, such so they are able to go the school for future legends which was built around the heros sword, which was stuck in the earth. However it doesn't mean the less fortunate aren't able to be strong, for those who are born mark-less, are still able to learn magic, however it hasn't been ever seen to surpass marked magic. Though this story revolves around a mark-less, a stubborn wannabe villian, trying to make a name for himself in an unfamiliar place filled with people he doesn't know all that well. Who knows what could go wrong, but as the old saying goes, There's only one way to find out.
