Autumn is a high schooler who never really fit in. She wasn't an outcast, but she wasn't in the "cool" club. She was just...there. She liked it that way, with no one to worry about her, with no one to know her secret. Until Emmett James saves her life. Until Emmett James insists on becoming part of the life he saved. As he slowly integrates himself into her heart and her future, Autumn realizes just what it means to have been locked forever in an eternal winter, and how nice it is to have someone show her summer. She will never forget the events of that December, because it will forever alter her life.
