It was a decade ago that Gaspari Albamonte slaughtered the High King and all his sons in a coup d'état, and his daughters, the sole surviving members of the ruling family, have been treated as nothing more than his wife's pretty caged songbirds ever since. The women of House Bulgari have long memories, however, and though the sisters hide their hatred well, tucked away beneath layers and layers of fear, there is but one thing they long for more than anything; vengeance.

Across the Narrow Sea, a ghost is biding his time; Captain Ushi of Truiha dragged him from the blood-stained waters, and her Wanderers nursed him back from the brink of death.
