But don't worry, the Parkers still exist somewhere in the emotional background, because even in an AU, Peter can't escape character development. Watch as Peter tries to balance genius‑level intellect, superhero responsibilities, and the joy of being raised by a man who thinks "healthy coping mechanisms" is a brand of protein bar. [SPIDER-MAN NO WAY HOME SPOILERS THROUGHOUT] ~ Set right after the donut shop scene in the film, and in MJs POV throughout. ~ "Peter Parker... That name. It seems familiar and I don't know why." After the spell MJ forgot Peter Parker ever existed. There were blanks where he once was, or the memories were slightly altered. One day he came into the donut shop to explain everything as promised but he felt that MJ and Ned were better off without him. But without fail he showed up to every one of MJs shifts at the coffee shop. Will love blossom once again? Or will she see him as some weird stalker and so moves on completely from Peter? MJ is also excited to go to MIT in the next year so with the pressure of passing her finals to graduate, will she be able to keep up with everything as things begin to get more overwhelming?
