A fanfic AU where Esther was a Shield Maiden and Mikael a powerful Norweighen witch. The two were married and together raised seven children. Nicklaus a product of an affair Esther had with a nearby werewolf. The aftermath of Henrik's near-death by nearby werewolves forced Esther and Mikael's hands to turn their family into immortals.
This follows the days before Esther and Mikael's marriage, the days leading up to five of the seven Mikaelson siblings becoming vampires and the deal Esther made with Dahlia the witch that plans to collect her payment.
