Nathan Carter, an American Archaeologist, was assigned to go to South Korea to find ancient artifacts along with his co-workers. Little did they know, the artifacts are hidden deep in a cave that was long forgotten for at least a few centuries old. When they discovered the cave, they encountered various ancient booby traps harsh enough to kill a man but luckily, they prevailed. Eventually, they would stumble upon a room filled with precursor treasures, valuable ancient Korean artifacts and gold. Nathan's crew was amazed while he tried to find a suspecting "catch" to this fortunate find. Nathan fell through the floor and noticed a tomb underneath the room. He carried on alone realizing that the others were too captivated by the findings. Nathan approached a giant coffin in the center of the catacombs with caution and excitement. "This is the real treasure.", he whispered to himself. The second he tried to touch the coffin, he pricked his finger on the old thorns surrounding the coffin. With a frightened state of mind, he left the catacombs and returned to his crew. As Nathan and his crew made a hasty retreat, his blood was sucked into the coffin and later awoken a blood thirsty vampire! How can Nathan Carter escape from the vampire's wrath or should I say "hypnotic charm"?

This story is a work of progress and is based on my imagination! It has been a hot minute since I wrote a story so please forgive me if you see any grammatical errors!

(This story does occur in the True Silk universe, but it is a few hundred years in the making.) He doesn't blink, still. She kisses her teeth, folds her arms and walks away. "Fine, you wanna stay down here? You can." "Come on, man." I turn around again. "This really isn't funny -" A tall, pencil-thin figure looms behind him. Its white skin is translucent and papery and its fine, greasy black hair has been formed into matter locks. Its neck, which is slightly too long for humans, is stretched like a turtle's while its shoulders are pitted down and and hunched. If it were possible, Grants eyes go even blanker, as if the life had just left his body. It's a few seconds before his body collapses to his knees and then laggingly onto his face. The creature's slender, skeletal fingers drip with his blood, in its hand, a fresh, still desperately beating heart. Grant's heart. * Julien would be your run of the mill bad girl; smart mouth, always picking fights, doesn't take anyone's crap bad girl. She would be...if only it weren't for the fact that she is an out-of-the-ordinary vampire. That much is made very clear when she and some friends go poking around the forbidden catacombs outside of their home city. They accidentally find something ancient and murderous lying beneath its surface with ties to old, dangerous magic kept locked away for good reasons. And now he has ties to her. San Choi was never supposed to make it out alive. The prison was his grave, and the sadistic scientist who ran it made sure of that. Tortured, drugged, and turned into something barely human, he finally did the impossible-he escaped. Now, he's a wanted man, and the only thing keeping him going is revenge. But first, he needs a place to hide. That's how he ends up breaking into Wooyoung Jung's apartment at 2 AM, dripping blood onto the cheap carpet, a gun in one hand and the other wrapped around the university student's throat. Wooyoung should be scared out of his mind. He is scared. But he's also an idiot-because instead of crying for help, he lifts an eyebrow. San blinks. For the first time in days, he's caught off guard. He should have left. He should have killed the little brat and disappeared. But instead, he finds himself crashing on Wooyoung's couch, using his shower, eating the instant ramen Wooyoung throws at him with a sigh. San clenches his jaw. He should have just killed him. But as the days pass, Wooyoung stops being just a scared kid who stumbled into the wrong nightmare. He's something else. Annoying. Shameless. Fearless. And worst of all? Unshakably loyal. And San... San is getting too used to him. But there's no time for distractions. His old friend Yunho is feeding him information-tracking the doctor who turned him into a monster, the man who thinks San is still his little experiment. The closer he gets to revenge, the more dangerous it becomes. And Wooyoung? He's not supposed to be part of this world. But then again, Wooyoung was never good at listening. |Been No:1 on #ateez|
