THIS IS TECHNICALLY A REWRITE OF INFINITE SPECIFICALLY AND SONIC FORCES BUT I LIKE TO THINK IT'S AN AU
For now, let's just call it "Infinite Remnants AU"
A heads up, some characters will not make an appearance as I see no reason as to why they'd be there in the first place, like Knuckles for example who was supposed to be guarding the Master Emerald. Some IDW characters will be in this as well.

STRENGTH was always important. To be stronger, much more powerful than the rest. And oh, to look down at them, screaming in terror at his presence. Running away as he destroys everything and everyone. Looking down at them with a clear hint of SADISM in his eyes. How wonderful.
There's something missing. Inside, deep down, it felt empty. MEMORIES long lost, ones that were abandoned. Anything relating to the person he once was, to people he once knew, it was reduced to nothing. It was no longer a thought.
In the end, his own EGOISM costed everything.

To his surprise and Shadow's annoyance, those trainees turn out to be none other than Eclipse the Darkling, the last of the Dark Arms and Shadow's half-brother, and Mimic the shapeshifting octopus, a two-faced mercenary with a past of treachery and deceit. Watching out for these two "former" villains will prove difficult enough, but will our heroes be able to handle their responsibilities on top of all the chaos that unfolds? It was a normal day for our speedy blue hedgehog and his pals. Eating a chili dog, running around green hill and destroying Eggman's plans like usual. Everything was okay until suddenly, Silver came back from the future and warned everyone that something worst was coming, not just the Chaos Emerald, but the Sol Emeralds and the Master Emerald. Worse than Black Doom or anyone they fought before. Mephiles The Dark has return with new powers and sinister allies that could destroy what Sonic, and everyone been fighting for. Before they could start their search on Chaos Emeralds and fight Mephiles again, the Master Emerald glows up and spoke to them. He told them to find someone who would help them to defeat Mephiles and everything will be restored. Before they could ask, the Master Emerald glows up and teleporting the entire world of Sonic to another world. A mysterious yet magical world where mirrored their world but differently. That's where they meet new allies with special abilities and other creatures as the search for the Chaos Emeralds again who was got spread away. Will they find the person they are looking for and stop Mephiles from destroying everything? (This story is based on Sonic Prime and Sonic X Shadow Generations).

For those who have never read Sonic (Archie) comics I suggest reading issues 193-195, will help to understand some points of this story.
