A heads up, some characters will not make an appearance as I see no reason as to why they'd be there in the first place, like Knuckles for example who was supposed to be guarding the Master Emerald. Some IDW characters will be in this as well.

STRENGTH was always important. To be stronger, much more powerful than the rest. And oh, to look down at them, screaming in terror at his presence. Running away as he destroys everything and everyone. Looking down at them with a clear hint of SADISM in his eyes. How wonderful.
There's something missing. Inside, deep down, it felt empty. MEMORIES long lost, ones that were abandoned. Anything relating to the person he once was, to people he once knew, it was reduced to nothing. It was no longer a thought.
In the end, his own EGOISM costed everything.

Sonic Forces: The Untold Story
As many Sonic fans are aware, Sonic Forces didn't live up to our expectations. Barebones, linear gameplay, overly forced "nostalgia", and a story that felt extremely half-baked. That's why I've decided to completely rewrite and revamp the story of Sonic Forces in the alternate take of the game. I've gone through the game's script and made some very heavy changes to improve upon the story. (gameplay is a whole other thing, I'll leave that to modders). Before they could start their search on Chaos Emeralds and fight Mephiles again, the Master Emerald glows up and spoke to them. He told them to find someone who would help them to defeat Mephiles and everything will be restored. Before they could ask, the Master Emerald glows up and teleporting the entire world of Sonic to another world. A mysterious yet magical world where mirrored their world but differently. That's where they meet new allies with special abilities and other creatures as the search for the Chaos Emeralds again who was got spread away.
