18 year old Lyra disguises herself daily to pass as a boy to fulfill her duties as Sir Grummore's squire. Content where she is, Lyra doesn't have anything to wish for.

When Grummore goes to the Stone Tournament, Lyra follows. The tournament surrounds the sword in the stone, the legendary kingmaker. So when Lyra pulls the sword, chaos ensues.
