Disclaimer: this cover isn't mine. After Peter's death at the hands of the mutated Harry Osborne, and Gwen injecting herself with the serum that gave her spider powers and turning her into Spider Women. Not only does Gwen have to deal with Peter's death, attending Columbia University, and having to be Spider Women, but it's not all gloom as Gwen in college makes a new friend and also get some help when being Spider Women. This also a The Amazing Spider Man 2 AU, where Peter died instead of Gwen. Rated PG -13: Violence, depressing themes, foul language and implied sexual themes.

A year and a half after the infamous Midtown Prom Incident, Gwen Stacy's life is a shell of what it once was: connections with her father and friends are fading fast, her full ride to her dream college seems like a pointless endeavor, and the city has blamed her vigilante persona-which they all now refer to as 'Ghost Spider'-for horrendous crimes she did not commit. But in the midst of a hollow walk through this new life, a mysterious villain rises from the ashes of Gwen's old life, beckoning the former vigilante to return to her crime-fighting ways. As she dives into a fight to protect New York City, Gwen encounters the opportunity to finally have the control over life she's always wanted-but it may come at the cost of losing herself entirely. DISCLAIMER: I do not own Spider-Gwen or any of Marvel's original characters that are portrayed in this story, this is a fanmade interpretation/retelling of Marvel's original work. I also do not own the original artwork edited for this cover.
