~What happens when high school politics become real life politics?~

Natasha Wakefield seems to have everything: perfect grades, perfect body, perfect friends, perfect family, perfect life. Most girls would kill for a life like hers, living in the spotlight as the Vice President's daughter. However, Tasha's life isn't nearly as perfect as it seems and it starts to get harder and harder for her to hide the cracks appearing in her perfect smile.

Enter Alex Cameron, the cocky, ambitious, golden boy of the school. On paper, they seem to have lots in common - then throw in the fact that Alex's dad is vying for the Vice President position in the upcoming election, making him Tasha's dad's enemy. With their fathers on opposite teams, a feud is created between the two of them that goes far beyond their personal differences.

But what happens when the two of them are thrown together and forced to work on a school project that teaches them far more about each other than they thought? With Tasha's life crumbling around her, maybe Alex is the only person who can truly understand her struggle and help put her back together again.
