I want to start off to thank you for considering readings this story, it means a lot. Next I want to add that this is an AU fanfic. This is for two reasons, I have only watched one movie and a bunch of youtube videos. Another is because I want some artistic liberties. I am warning you right now just in case you might not like that. Also when writing this story it would be appreciated if you could give feedback so I can improve it or just make things closest to the original source material as possible.

I was greatly inspired by Cougar Macdowall for Ghidorah so go check him out on youtube. I was also inspired by Moonidorah so make sure to give love to the creator of that OC too. I also thank all of the other YouTube videos and websites I used for research. I learned about the multiple versions of the monster verse and decided to use the ones that peak my interest the most and add my own flare to it.

I was a little hesitant to even start writing this but I decided just to try and see how others would like it.

This is basically the story of King Ghidorah, past, present, and future. Also contains perspectives on other Kaiju!

Forty Years of This [Monster Hunter World] oleh senatorwiggles

Direct crosspost from Ao3 This is an INTENSELY self indulgent prequel for the events of Monster Hunter World following the life of the Commander. Fic takes place from the First Fleet setting out and covers things like the Celestial Pursuit ending up on a mountain, the Scoutflies, the Seeker peacing out, the Research Base crash landing, and some other stuff I'm forgetting, and ends right before the opening sequence of the game. So if you like Monster Hunter, and for some reason you're not here for the monster part (why are we here? Where is the appeal beyond big monster?), we're here together. Ngl, I wrote this because he is 100% my OC's type, and I had brain worms until I wrote it all out. I'm freeeee! The PoV is from the Commander instead of said OC so we get to see more fun things than "oh god he's hot. Oh god I'm gay. Oh god." Instead we get stuff like "Woah cool bugs. Ha ha cute monsters! AH BIG MONSTER!" You're welcome. Fun fact: I played the game in French, so I have ZERO HANDLE on how their dialog sounds in English. *Finger guns and skates off into the sunset* *This is a grammatically LAX fic. After the war between Gojira and Ghidorah, the world of humanity has fallen into collapse and only a few urban areas remain. However, the worse was yet to come as Ghidorah had won the war, and using his alpha call, summoned all the titans and order them to reak havoc upon the world. The year is now 2374, you'd think technology would evolve by then, but due to the rule of Ghidorah and his seemingly endless thirst for blood and destruction, humanity's technology protection has taken a massive drop and technology has barely improved since 2019 witch was 355 years ago! The remaining humans after the war are forced to live in small cities where no one is allowed to leave due to how dangerous the outside world is. Lucas Matthew Stevenson and his friend Katie Victoria Johnson are 12-year-old kids who live in the city known as "Saint Havord City". The city is under poverty and is surrounded by a tall, thick wall that hopefully keeps all the titans outside the city and keeps everyone inside the city safe. Supposedly, the world is at the state that the world beyond the wall is just a wasteland from Ghidorah and his subordinate's wrath... but Katie suspects otherwise, that the world outside is not a wasteland. Lucas on the other hand doesn't believe Katie and he wants to keep him and his dad safe as he's the only family he has left. His dad is a very good man, he works as much as he can and makes as much money as possible to keep a roof over their heads. He often tells Lucas about a time when humans and titans lived together and harmonized thousands of years ago... and their ancestors were one of the rare and lucky humans to have a bond with these magnificent gods.
