August 24th is the most important day of Maria, Daisy and Olivia's lives as it is the day all their dreams come true. After years of imagining what it might be like, the three girls finally move into their New York apartment ready for their first day at NYCPA - The New York College of Performing Arts. However, life in the big city is harder than they think.
Broadway fanatic Maria is determined to make it in musical theatre but she finds herself surrounded by tough competition in the form of pushy girls, false friends and very attractive boys.
Actress and all-round drama queen Daisy enters the city armed with her ambition and her sarcasm and is ready to tear apart anyone who tries to mess with her or her friends. However, things become difficult as she tries to maintain a relationship with her boyfriend back home while also meeting new people all around her - people who are not all that they seem.
Olivia - dancer, feminist and 'mom' of the group - is excited to be finally fulfilling her dream but things don't go to plan when she gets stuck with an awful teacher, partnered with a total jerk and patronised by a city-boy who just won't leave her alone.
Amongst all this, they still have to pay the rent and try to get through their first year unscathed but it's going to be a lot harder than they thought.

She lays out her plan and no one thought what I would do if I leave everything behind here and I am not included here again. "Ok so everything is already planned. Sophie got enrolled in the college already, dad has set his business and I get to know this now." I laugh humorlessly pushing away my plate . "what about me mom? Dad?" I look at them for an answer. "What about my life here? My career? My plans about life here? You didn't thought to tell me before taking decision on my behalf?" "I never had a courage to ask before but, why do you both hate me so much? What have I done to always get your hatred?" I ask as the tears threaten my eyes but I won't allow them to leave my eyes. *~*~* REWRITTEN AND PUBLISHED AS HUNTINGTON AVENUE ON MY PROFILE *~*~* Zachary West has it all. Near-perfect grades, a kind, loving family, and is a guitar prodigy. Seems like a wonderful life, right? Most good things come with at least one catch, though: He's blind. Following a move from Washington to New York, Zach struggles to fit in with everyone else. Little did he know that high school across the country would be extremely different than back home. He would endure new town, new home, new friends, but also new hardships. Will Zach find a way to fit in with his new surroundings? Then, there's Kelsey Davis, one of the popular girls of the school. She's beautiful, charming, and, of course, she can be a bit questionable. Luckily, there's almost always a side to people that nobody sees. Hanging out with the wrong crowd has gotten to Kelsey's nerves, but she doesn't want to leave her friends. Having such a reputation with the entire school has extremely high standards, and she can't meet them anymore. Will everything change when she notices a unique boy among the crowds who might need a friend? *~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~* Disclaimer: This is the very first book that I ever wrote. It was created in the Fall of 2018 by a 15-year-old girl who had no idea how to construct and develop a story. It's still a very precious story to my heart and I will always keep it published here. :) Word Count: ~70,000-75,000

Christina has had her life figured out for as long as she could remember. The plan was always to get into Harvard and become a journalist. So what if she doesn't have much of a social life? She's got friends. Even one who's pretty close. A busy social calender never fit into the plan. And a boyfriend certainly didn't. Especially with her father's strict rules. Besides there'd be plenty of time for all that later, right? Mike doesn't know what he's doing past the next week. His only plan for the future includes turning out to be nothing like his father. And possibly finding a girl who actually likes him for himself rather than for his face and social status, for a change. He's beginning to think they're all the same, though - pretty and nice to be around for a while, but pretty shallow. Mike and Christina have known each other forever but haven't been close for years. They soon start to question their priorities and why in the world they let their friendship fall apart so long ago. Can their relationship, still so young and fragile, withstand what's ahead?
