Maithili Vishwaseni is the princess of Vaideha. The first girl born after Ramayana's Urmila Seeradhwaji, her birth is celebrated all over the kingdom. Her birth stops the long-time war between Vaideha and Panchala and ties of friendship are forged. She chooses Kaunteya Paartha Savyasachi or Arjuna in her swayamvar and becomes the Queen of Indraprastha. She is thrown rather violently into the game of politics, war, humiliation, and vengeance. In one word, Kutayuddham.
