After 13 painful years of abuse, Isabella is broken and clinging to the edge of sanity. Will the alpha king and her mate, Aiden be able to pull her to solid ground? Or will Isabella drag him down with her into the neverending dark of her past? Maybe past was the wrong word as it was constantly catching up to them becoming present. Slowly everything Isabella has ever loved falls apart becoming as lifeless and numb as herself. Can Aiden save her or will he be too late? After all, they say it's better to leave a mirror broken than get hurt trying to fix it.

This girl is always told to never do this never do that, and the consequences...Are questionable. This girl has never known the meaning love or kindness. She has yet to receive any of it.
