Lucy, a sixteen-year-old Luxian girl serving the Ruins, was abducted to the dark side, under the care of her master, W.D. Gaster. Unknowing about her origin, she was trained to become one of the deadliest assassins, joining with a group of mercenaries known to possess great strength. Though involved in killing many, she desired only one thing; To kill the King of Lux, Sans the Guardian of the Border, which she believed to be the cause of her mother's death.

To complete the task, she must participate in the Lumiere Core Games, a tournament organized by the Luxian King to his beloved wife, former Queen Freya Licht Dreemurr, and his one-year-old daughter, Princess Fran Luce, who were thought to be assassinated by assassins after a failed attempt of escape from the sudden invasion of the dark side.

During the Games, she had come to know hints of her purpose and beginning, and the true dark intention of her master.

As Light Grows Dim is the second book of my FateTale AU Series. It follows the events after the unification of the Light Queen, Freya Licht Mercy Dreemurr (Frisk), and her King, the Guardian of Snowdin, Sans the Skeleton.
