A boy named Amir Abdul immigrates from Amman, Jordan to North Carolina at the age of 11, unprepared for the new things that await him. Living there being homeschooled until he turns 15, his parents finally decide to send him to a public high school for him to socialize. However, he didn't expect a certain blond boy to change his life... for the better or the worse.
