"How about this, I tell you this big secret and if you promise to keep it, I will untie you and heal your leg," he said. "But you have to stay here on my ship with me."

I groaned. Either I die here or I save my father.

"Fine," I said.

"Do you believe in pirates' sweetheart because you are staring at one of the most well known on these oceans? People like to call me Captain Jon but my full name is Captain Jonathan and right now you are setting sail on my ship," he said.

I could only stare. That's when he grabbed my arm and started to drag me. We went through the hall and he led me on deck while I limped. Then he threw me to the ground.

"My crew, I'd like for you all to meet a new member on the ship. Her name is Emily and she is a bit feisty. She may try to runaway but I believe you all will keep an eye on her. She is not much of threat but she's got a nice little mouth on that face of hers. Everyone say hi Emily," Jon said to his crew.
