The winter of December 2030 seemed like another season of holidays and gatherings for Tom Alvarez. Living and working in the progressive North American nation of Muriasea for the past thirty-something years of his life as a - once fairly successful - now struggling writer, he can only hope to reignite any glimmer of ideas or inspiration from his friends and acquaintances at their fifteen-year high school reunion.

Reuniting with his closest pals was indeed pleasant, but it was no surprise. However, seeing the face of a precious senior, who has turned out to be a Korean celebrity? It felt like another generic plot and trope to a romance fiction or even a K-pop fan's greatest fantasy come true. For Tom, on the other hand, crossing paths with Jihyo Park was a one in a million chance of meeting the "one that got away".

From breakthroughs of futuristic tech to fancy trends, a lot has changed over the last decade. But since the two have now miraculously come back in each other's lives, Tom pondered that his feelings for Jihyo may still be stuck in the past. Since the last time they met. Does she feel the same way? Of course, before Tom can find an answer, the two still has a lot to catching up to do. Their special reunion gives the two the chance to reminisce their past together: when they first met, and after they parted ways.
