July 2014. The holy month of Ramadan has gladly commenced for the world's Muslims, but not for the citizens of Gaza, Palestine. 17 year-old Ahmad Ridwan has been on the run ever since the illegitimate murder of his younger brother Hassan, 13, and his sister Amal, 8, along with the capture of his parents Talal and Fatima. While on the escape to Jordan, as attempted by many other Palestinians running from the Israeli bullets, he recounts the horrors he experienced along with his people at the hands of their adversaries in the early 2000s, along with a taste of his family's history dating back to 1948, the year Great Britain gave the keys of Palestine to the newly created state of Israel. All of this, while he struggles to survive the constant search being done to find him while on his way to Jordan, then to Saudi Arabia, and finally to Canada through Amsterdam. Whatever is keeping him going, it is surely not his strength, but his mere love for his country and his unmeasurable faith.
