Today was the day when catching fire was finally coming out in theaters. Me and my friends were standing in line for probably about 30 minutes now. "ARIEANNA!" "SHELBY!" We screamed like we were on a roller coaster. It made it really loud when the rest of the fandom girls showed up! 
We were finally next in line. But all the girls were cutting in line!! I got frustrated as  we got back another two people behind our spot. I started cussing and yelling. But FINALLY I got to the ticket guy "one-" I couldn't finish my sentence with our being interrupted "sorry we are sold out." I felt my stomach drop when he said those 5 words. He slammed a large sign onto the catching fire poster. I felt tears forming into my eyes. I waited this long 1 hour for them to be sold out!!! As I sat  in the parking lot I think of peeta mellark and katniss everdeen shooting arrows and Peeta being his sexy self.

When I was eleven. My whole world changed. Katniss' dad died in a mining accident. You think it wouldn't affect me but I loved him just as much as Katniss did. Maybe even more than I loved my own father. I felt bad, that my own dad couldn't compare to Katniss'. He loved me too though. Loved me like his own. The day he died was the first in a long line of times I have ever seen Katniss cry. She never cried before then but she cried a lot after. Katniss' mother was suppose to get a job after his passing, she didn't. They were starving, dying. I decided to help. After school I would drag Katniss into the woods by her feet. We'd never gone in there without her father. It seemed like a scarier place without him. After some time it wasn't so scary. I don't know what made me volunteer for Katniss. When I heard her name echo throughout the crowd my heart stopped. It wasn't my name, but it was my best friends. There was no way she could survive in there. She had a family, a sister to take care of. I thought my parents could live without me. The name Effie called next was the only name I prayed and prayed I would never hear her say. Peeta Mellark.
