This is my first take on writing a serious fanfic, read the story to find out. :) I do NOT, and I repeat, do NOT own Halo, Halo is owned by Bungie. I only own my OCs. Long story short, a boy is going to get kidnapped by a Gravemind, get his ass handed to him more than once, and maybe, just maybe, make it out alive and join the Arbiter and the Master Chief.

PROJECT HALO is a YA sci-fi thriller taking place in near-future Norway. It has speculative elements and will appeal to fans of dystopian works such as DIVERGENT, THE MAZE RUNNER, LEGEND, and BLACK MIRROR. All seventeen-year-old Charlie Walker wants is to be free of his father's stupid expectations. Stay in school? No thanks. Get a job? Nope. Stop cursing? Hell no. But if he knew his petty rebellion would result in his own kidnapping, he might've reconsidered. When Charlie wakes up at Norway's largest intelligence agency, the NIC, with a biochip in his brain, he faces problems bigger than his father's disapproval. Charlie is their first successful experiment, and when activated, the chip will give the agency unbarred access to his vital signs and location. So much for freedom. But before his biochip can be activated, a rogue doctor offers Charlie a chance to escape. In return, he has to find and keep a flash drive hidden from the NIC. At first, agreeing to the deal seems obvious. But when NIC sends agents to hunt Charlie down, he realizes the flash drive might be more important than he thought. He's faced with an ultimatum: hand over the flash drive, or a lethal virus will be released onto the population. If he obliges, his chip will be activated and he'll lose his freedom forever. If he doesn't, people will die-including his ex-friend-who-he-totally-still-hates. Including the charming hacker he has a crush on. Including his demanding father. Including himself. In a race against time and his own selfish thoughts, Charlie must decide who to trust with his deadly secret-and exactly how far he's willing to go in the name of freedom. - - - Trigger warnings: Death and dying, blood, swearing, syringes/needles, hospitals, alcoholism, anger issues, nightmares, kidnapping, being drugged against one's will, suicide mention, terrorism/terror attacks, guns/weapons.

Post Covenant War the UNSC has to contend with Covenant Splinter-groups and Forerunners. Follow the events of Y/N's Fireteam as one of their missions went wrong. (y/n) was a rookie member of Alpha-Nine. an ODST squad tasked with aiding soldiers on earth during the Covenant invasion. During the drop, the young rookie gets knocked out and left behind by his squad after he is presumed dead. Luckily the rookie isn't completely alone.

Halo, but with an oddity. Reach. . . the only planet, other than Earth herself, where loss was not an option. Unfortunately. . . the enemy they faced was unlike anything the Covenant had thrown before. . . . The OC Aris belongs to me. Halo and it's characters belongs to "Bungie" and "343 Industries." (Quick note, the name Remnants is in the title, but this is not related to RWBY in the slightest beyond that.)

2560, a ring like structure has been found in uncharted space by a human exploration ship. They reported the structure as, "A giant ring, with what looks like an Earth like surface, with water, mountains, and grass, with the outside gray frame pulsating with blue lights." Everyone in the surrounding area tried to track the ship and contact them. They were never heard from again. The UNSC traced the signal to unknown coordinates, and are enroute to establish contact, as they believe the ring structure to be a Halo ring. A dangerous weapon built by Forerunners to wipe out the galaxy, and ran by Covenant. I am a marine, designation Sierra Mike 115, my squad and I will be one of the first to touch down on the ring. Godspeed.

A young woman is stranded alone on Requiem after a devastating Storm Covenant attack on the UNSC Infinity. The Master Chief has vanished ever since he was manipulated into releasing a Forerunner from a Cryptum deep within Requiem's core: a Warrior-servant class Promethean known as the Didact. The Didact was thought to be the last living Forerunner there was. Having a strong belief in the Mantle of Responsibility, the Didact desires to save all life in the galaxy, but at a cost of humanity. The woman, was looking to get away from her family because of her lack of freedom. But her new freedom is bittersweet when Prometheans capture her and she is brought onto the Cryptum before the Didact himself. Deciding to spare her, the Didact keeps her prisoner but over time, she begins to learn of his past and believes he can redeem himself. She refuses to escape his grasp and decides to help him instead; hoping to bring back the good in him and along the while she falls in love with him. But having been previously married to the Librarian and holding a hatred towards humans, the Didact feels nothing for her at first. Can this Forerunner be brought back to the good side, and could he love a human?

Upon their escape, they came across something no one could have expected. . . A ring world. And now, the remnants of Noble had to survive against the Covenant once more, and the secrets of Halo. . . . The OCs Aris and Athena belong to me. Halo belongs to "Bungie" and "343 Industries."
