Miranda Lee had been dreaming about the day she would finally have the guts to talk to her crush, Jason Kennedy.

Except, she never thought it would be so soon.

One day while she was walking home from school grey clouds started to form overhead. She could hear the pre-thunder mumbling warnings to her. She was only a few blocks from home when a roaring boom erupted from the sky and snow started to wage war with the ground just beneath her feet. The snow came down with so much force it sounded like firecrackers where everywhere. She had to find shelter fast before the storm got even stronger. Quickly she ran to the nearest house and knocked on the door with urgency for the clouds where getting darker and the firecrackers were turning to canons. A few minutes passed before a tall, black haired male opened the door. To Miranda's surprise and horror, it was her crush. The infamous Jason Kennedy.

And to think it all started with a storm.
