Abominations, freaks, monsters; society has forever ostracized those who stand out. And when the discovery of a new mineral leads to people developing supernatural abilities, these "Abnormals" are treated no differently. However in the wake of a catastrophic event that left everyone wondering whether it was the end, everything changed. Now Abnormals are appreciated more than ever as an era of Superheroes was born, inspired by the heroes who saved the World!
But this story isn't about those heroes, instead we follow Elliot Campbell, seventeen years later, in the waning years of Superhero popularity. Elliot is your average bystander who struggles everyday to stay above rock bottom, except for one big problem; he is an absolute loser, incapable of making correct decisions.
That is until he is offered the power to change the course of his life forever. He could become an Abnormal or even more hopeful he could become a Superhero! Except that the way he would get his powers isn't exactly above board & the people he would be joining are fighting crime outside of the law. Is this the chance he must take to turn his life around or just another BIG mistake in a long long list of them?
