Injured and left for dead on a desolate island by his own crew, pirate captain Azuma Kenousa miraculously survives after consuming a mysterious red ice crystal. Awakening with newfound regenerative abilities, Azuma sets out to avenge his betrayal and regain control of his ship. As he sails towards the nearest town to form a new crew, he encounters a pair, their leader, a seductive and skilled assassin named Naiomi.
A confrontation ensues, with Naiomi underestimating Azuma's resilience and narrowly failing to kill him. Impressed by his strength, she offers to join his crew as his second-in-command. Azuma hesitantly accepts, but warns her not to betray him. With the addition of Naiomi and her enigmatic partner Kenzu, the crew sets sail once again, determined to seek out the pirates who deceived Azuma and exact revenge.
As their journey unfolds, Azuma's powers continue to intrigue and mystify his crewmates. With his regenerative abilities and newfound allies by his side, Azuma sets his sights on becoming the pirate lord, vowing to destroy those who wronged him and build a new crew worthy of his leadership.
