This will be the first book in the Cosmic Imprint Series. Beija has lost her sister to an unknown force. Two foreigners who came together for Stella. At fifteen years old Beija had the most traumatic experience she would ever have to endure, leaving her without her voice for almost a year. Beija What if I told you I was found by a brand imprinted into my spinal cord. He said it was a series of numbers for galaxies in an astronimical graph, using lines of latitudes and longitudes. An address for a specific moment in time when I would be at a certain place. When both my sister and I would be hunted for our brand. It is what he told me when I asked him why they were taking my sister, and if she must go as he demanded, then why couldn't I go too... because she was all I cared about. She was twenty. He said I wasn't of age. I begged him not to leave me. He said he would be back. I'm waiting to be found.

I was never meant to leave that room. I had spent my whole life in there, imagining what it was like on the outside. I looked forward to the day when I would finally be allowed to leave. But that day was never supposed to come. Until James decided to keep his promise. He had always been there, on the other side of the glass. Waiting. The experiment wasn't over. He was still waiting for me to change. But I didn't change. Not until that night. It was dark, and there was rain. The sound of the car engine was loud, but the crash was louder. In the crash, I became something different. I changed. But not for James. This new part of me emerged for one reason; to save her. This story is a first draft and will contain typos and grammatical errors. I apologize for these in advance, and hope you can see beyond them to the story beneath. Happy reading!
