Dick Grayson never became Robin. Instead he took the name of Renegade. He had not one mentor, but many. Dick joined the light, and they each mentored him different skills to become the best villain. Deathstroke taught him Weaponry and Agility, Luthor taught him Business, Queen Bee taught him Manipulation, Joker taught him Destruction, Klarion taught him The Mystic Arts, Ra's taught him Control, and Savage taught him Power.
