According to the world, Asher Gabriel Eliseo was by far the rudest, arrogant, most stubborn man to have ever existed. And if Asher was being honest, he had to agree with them.
CEO of the largest medical enterprise in the country and being the hotshot neurosurgeon that he was, things came a bit easy to him. He had money, status - everything a man could ever dream of - and yet he hated it. Hated everything he was.
He hadn't always been like this, but after everything he'd endured, he decided he'd never return to that weak state of mind. To that hope that there was something good out there in the world, waiting for him.
So when Aedrienn shows up to one of his hospitals and begins to stir unwanted emotions within him, he doesn't know what to do. All he knows is that his mind is set in the one belief that he'll change for no one and nothing - not even the young, bright-eyed woman who makes him question everything he's ever known.
