The Raven's Call

"I love you, Shalnark." Feitan spoke in a soft and calm whisper as the black birds cawed outside. He held onto his boyfriend in a tight embrace, letting Shalnark run his fingers gently through his hair. "I love you too, Feitan. I love you too."

Feitan never thought he'd ever fall in love. The concept of it was confusing to him and he could never understand it. Maybe it was the way he grew up or the way he was never taught about normal human emotions. But when a fellow Troupe member by the name of Shalnark manages to steal his heart, Feitan soon learns things he never thought were possible. Good times, happiness, romance and simple things that can wash that all away.
