This is a Safe Place

Mariah is a Sophomore in high school getting over the death of her father. Her father was a police officer when he was killed in a traffic stop. She deals with bullying and social anxiety. She thinks that is the worst of it, but she was wrong. Something horrible happens at school one day before homecoming. She begins to find the courage to forget about her father and help those in need.
