Balance in Ninjago is at stake when Rebecca and Minakae, two of many descendants, receive pendants for their shared birthday. Seeking the mysterious power within the pendants, a dark force possesses Bec's pupil, Leo Atkins, the young master of porcupine and kills Bec's mother. Their quest to start again takes them back 34 years, to the prime time of the Ninja, the time that the Ninjago season one first started. Will they find a happier life? Or will time repeat itself and a new prophecy arise?
