The forest was what divided the people of Treepe from the magical creatures that resided within. Treepe residents are told to stay away from the forest and to not enter for fear that you won't make it back out.
Tessa grew up believing that, but her whole world is flipped upside down when she enters the forest and saves a creature of the forest.
Now trying to get back what was stolen from the creature, Tessa must go on the adventure of a lifetime with her soon to be husband and bestfriend Arthur.

The Forest
Ernwood Forest is home to people living hidden from the prying eyes of humans; the Winged and their tribes. These people stand no taller than a few centimetres off the ground, meaning that things can sometimes get a little difficult... especially when humans are involved. But life isn't all bad. For the first time ever, Azure and the tribes have a human of their own protecting them from the sinister forces beyond the edge of the trees. As the months of winter roll in, nights are growing longer and snow has settled on the leafless branches. The forest is still. The only humans anyone expects to see are the few that know of the tiny people's existence. But the tribes are not alone in the forest anymore. The abductions begin. The past awakens. And a long forgotten shadow falls over the forest. Azure and the others once again find themselves having to fight to prevent their family from being ripped apart- only this time, things are different.
