In a world where you choose the length of your lifespan, a man decides on assisted suicide at age 40, feeling like he lived a very full life. Things go wrong when instead of ending his life at the hospital, he is transported to an alien research lab, which is way more than he bargained for. Trapped in another universe being tortured, the man is stuck unable to wake to reality or escape the pain.
