It's Valentine's Day week at Fairview High. A week filled with love, roses, and dance proposals.
The only student not excited about it was Avery Cooper.
Ever since she came out as a lesbian, she stopped receiving Roses during the week of Valentine's Day, and never went to the Sweetheart dance at the end of the week.
Boys obviously didn't send her roses anymore, and other girls didn't want to out of fear of being called 'gay'.
Avery thought this year would be the same as every other year, but she was wrong.
