ᴜɴᴅᴇʀ ᴇᴅɪᴛɪɴɢ Killing her father, the General of the Demon Army, was the only way (Y/n)'s best friend and his lover could escape and in doing so, (Y/n) and Meliodas, the eldest son of the Demon King, started the Holy War. For 3,000 years, (Y/n) travelled with Meliodas and tried to find a way to break the terrible curse placed upon him and Elizabeth the Goddess. But for the past sixteen years, after Liz's death in the Kingdom of Danafor, (Y/n) has locked herself away from the world in order to protect her best friend and Elizabeth. Or at least, this is what she tells herself. However, the Demons that were locked away over 3,000 years ago have broken through the seal so (Y/n) must reemerge from the shadows to face them once again. With Meliodas, Elizabeth, and the Seven Deadly Sins by her side, (Y/n) must take down the Ten Commandments and protect the realm she has come to call home. Unfortunately, unbeknownst to her best friend, (Y/n) is running out of time because of the curse secretly placed on her 3,000 years ago by the Demon King. And to also learn more about the intriguing immortal whom her older brother considers his best friend. Broken Trust (Previously Trust Lost and Hate Found)
Okay! This is a LONG overdue rewrite of my original fanfiction. I took it down a long time ago because there was someone in the comments that uh... had some questionable things to say. At the time, I was uncomfortable and just decided to move on, even though this whole story was practically written in my drafts! However, it has been several years now, and I have wanted to remake this for a very long time to share it with you all. After all of this time, this story is still one of my best I feel. Not because of the writing, but because it was written in a time when I LOVED SDS. I still do, but it's different now after so many years. This story was written in a time when I'd binge the show and fanfictions over and over again, and it makes me smile every time I think back on it. So, having said that, I hope you all enjoy this updated version as much as I do! (3 (Also, for new readers, here's a little explanation of the plot) This is a story about Meliodas's past in the war and present with the Sins colliding. Think of it as an alternate story of how the war with the Ten Commandments and Liones could play out. One filled with more in-depth angst and backstory between Meliodas and his brothers. Not to mention... a bit of an alternate backstory as to why he left the demons to begin with... Updates every other Wednesday until completed.
